GRIPA Connect™ Clinical Integration

Risk-based contracts are going away.

What will be the best working model for community-based physicians?

At Greater Rochester Independent Practice Association (GRIPA), we believe the answer is GRIPA Connect™ Clinical Integration.

On September 17, 2007, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a favorable advisory opinion on our Clinical Integration program.

As only the second organization in the nation to receive a favorable opinion from the FTC, and the first in five years, GRIPA can now rightfully be considered a national leader in the movement toward a progressive business model for independent and community-based practitioners. Clinical Integration delivers higher quality patient care by creating a connected community of physicians, hospitals, labs and imaging facilities with:

  • electronic access to complete patient information,

  • support from patient care managers, and

  • assistance to fulfill a commitment to evidence-based clinical care

We believe the result will be better clinical guidelines, better care for patients, and—as a result—better pay for physicians. Physician enrollment in GRIPA Connect is ongoing.

We invite you to read more about how GRIPA Connect works and what we believe are the benefits to you, your practice and your patients. Find even more details about some of the components: GRIPA Connect web portal and Clinical Care Guidelines.
