GRIPA Connect Clinical Care Guidelines

putting what’s proven into practice

Clinical Care Guidelines are an essential component of a Clinical Integration program. We all know that they will soon be a mandated part of every physician’s practice, as Medicare, Medicaid and private insurers struggle with ways to improve the quality of care while managing costs.

During this first, current phase of GRIPA Connect Clinical Integration, guidelines are available on the web portal. During Phase 2, they will be provided as patient-specific prompts and cues at the moment when they’re most valuable—while you are with a patient.

Physicians are integral to the process

We are involving physicians in the drafting of Clinical Guidelines and have established committees by areas of specialty. Our goal is to make the guidelines helpful and effective, not onerous.

The Clinical Integration Committee is comprised of both primary care and specialist physicians who are members of GRIPA and are practitioners in the community. This group meets monthly and has the primary responsibility for the selection, modification and evaluation of Clinical Guidelines.

The CIC receives input and recommendations from Specialty Advisory Groups, which include physicians from each of the specialties and subspecialties affected by the guidelines that are being developed.

If you are enrolled in GRIPA Connect, you can view the completed Clinical Care Guidelines on the web portal. Log on at https://CI.GRIPAconnect.com.

The help you—and your patients—need

Case and Disease management are complementary to Clinical Care Guidelines. GRIPA nurses, social workers, and clinical pharmacists can help patients with complex and seemingly intractable conditions. Contact us to talk about ways we can help.
