Congratulations to Linden Medical Group selected as a GRIPA Connect Office in the Spotlight. This column features GRIPA Connect Clinical Integration offices who are finding the GRIPA Connect Web Portal useful for patient care.

The group finds the Referral Management feature of the portal to be beneficial and valuable. “It’s a good tool for keeping track of who our practice is referring to,” says Stacy Keech, Office Assistant. “We find that the portal is easy to use and to navigate.”

 

Edith Dale, MD said they found the portal to be most useful when it helped alert them to a patient who was potentially abusing narcotics. “We were alerted that the patient had visited the ED through the portal and we followed through to make sure he wasn’t getting duplicate prescriptions.”

 

Members of the group including Physicians Assistant Marlene Ettinger use the Visual Dx function to help in the diagnosis of skin disease. The practice is looking forward to refinement of portal as it is able to offer more data sources and additional information about patients.
